Winter Recess
In keeping with past practice, Friday, December 20, 2019 will be a minimum day. Additionally, all schools in the Lamont Elementary School District will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Students are to return from the winter recess on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. We wish you and your family the happiest of holidays and a successful and happy 2020.

Parent Project Graduates
Congratulations to all the parents and guardians who, with their hard work and dedication, have completed and graduated from Parent Project. We are very proud of each one of you. We would like to give special thanks to Mr. Luis Garcia, our PBIS Coordinator/School Social Worker, for his hard work and dedication to make this happen.

Highest Attendance Award Goes to Myrtle Ave. School
Congratulations to Myrtle Ave. School students for reaching the highest attendance percentage (97 percent) for the 2015-2016 school year.

There are so many employees who's hard work and dedication goes unnoticed. We hope to recognize each and every one of them, with a certificate of appreciation before the board, to recognize them for going the extra mile and are so dedicated to the students and our district.

The annual SASH color run took place on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Mt. View Middle School.

Pie in the face took place at Alicante school on Friday, April 5, 2019 and students had a great time!

Teacher of the Year
Congratulations on being selected as the Teacher of the Year for your school site for the 2017-2018 school year. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to the students as well as your outstanding achievements in teaching.

PBIS Bronze Level Recognition
The California PBIS Coalition, also known as CPC, has initiated their first statewide effort to implement a recognition system to acknowledge schools for implementing PBIS with fidelity to the national framework. Congratulations to Alicante School, Lamont School, and Mt. View Middle School for being recognized as Bronze PBIS schools!
