School Accountability Report Cards

California School Accountability Report Cards

Public schools throughout California are required to provide information about themselves to the community in the form of an annual School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The report cards issued in 2018-19 focus on the previous academic year, 2017-2018.  These report cards provide a variety of data to allow the public to evaluate and compare schools in the following major areas:

  • Demographic Information/School Profiles

  • School Facilities/Safety

  • Climate for Learning

  • Academic Data or Student Achievement

  • Class Size

  • Teacher and Staff Information

  • Counseling/Student Services offered
