Ms. Rubinol

I am a blessed mother of 3 beautiful children that bring joy to my life daily.  It's been 23 exciting years teaching in Lamont School District.  Myrtle Ave, Mountain View and Arvin High schools I attended as a child.  I have only taught at Mountain View because once a tiger, always a tiger.

I received my bachelor's degree in 1994 from California State University, Bakersfield.  Then I received my teaching credential a year later from the same university.  I started teaching at Mountain View in 1995.  I have taught Social Sudies, ELA, AVID and ELD.  I was also academic coach for the teachers for 3 years.  I later decided to go back to school to get my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instructions, with an emphasis in English Language Arts from the University of Phoenix.

I have been involved in so many different activities over the past few decades with our wonderful students and staff.  Getting to know students outside of class is always a positive experience.  From coaching volleyball and basketball, to running, organizing and helping with activities for ASP, AVID, SASH, PBIS, SSA, SOAR, and student council,  I have seen how good-hearted and hardworking our scholars are in and out of the classroom.  I've had the pleasure of supporting teachers through being a BTSA mentor, LTA officer, AVID Site and District GATE Coordinator with the parents of Lamont through School Site council provides me with ways to better serve my students and to hear the needs of our families in the community.

Lamont is and always will be my home and where my heart is for our wonderful children in this community.
